The #1 thing I always get asked is: How did you get into this? The truth is, I’ve been making videos since 1985 when my dad brought home our first camcorder. I spent countless hours with friends making videos all through high school until I got to college and realized I could do this for a living.

I got my degree in media and never looked back. I have worked in the video industry corporately (Questar Entertainment, Chicago IL) nonprofit (Christ Community Church, st. Charles IL and Eagle Brook Church St. Paul, MN) and owned my owned video production company since 2003. I have created videos for many international non-profits in Bangladesh, Sierra Leona Africa, Nicaragua, Brazil and Haiti.

Because of my experience, I can do everything that involves the production of a video. I will shoot, light, write scripts, edit, and most importantly, direct. My direction is something I have honed over the years, watching and learning from my colleagues I respect. Good direction is what will take your video from just an informational piece to a full-blown marketing tool.

I love what I do. I absolutely love connecting with business owners and nonprofit leaders and I love watching my clients’ eyes fill with tears as they watch their finished piece, or watch their own ideas explode with the realization of what the video will do for the future of their company.
